decided to stop here on the way in cali to avoid fast eating. it was the right decision. food good for the portion size. good menu with a small selection of light beer. looked outside so that our children could be loud and crazy to get up in the car. they split a hugging child meal with mac n cheese page updated. perfect small BBQ connection to break our 5 hours trip. equipment not updated, but very clean. What User doesn't like about Rebel Bbq:
Worst brisket I ever had from a BBQ restaurant. There was absolutely no flavor, bark, or smoke ring at all. It tasted like tender wet meat that was microwaved.There is a serious lack of flavor and quality for what was charged. I had to drown it in BBQ just to get it down.My friends had tri tip sandwiches that also lacked any flavor at all. View all feedback.
That was not as bad as I expected it was quite pleasant. only to see in the city, so hope it. they have a great effort every day to bring u some q. only imo he has to work a bit on the recipe. wood smoke has not automatically made their q great.

Very good for restaurant bbq. the tri-tip and ripening were great!
Both the brisket and pastrami sandwich were excellent. Did not like Mac and cheese, but loved jalapeño potato salad and pickle.
