Description

Amid praise for hot, flavorful noodle dishes, breakfast service, and a friendly, quick staff, this Hilton Head Chinese spot earns mixed marks for consistency. Patrons enjoy wine, martinis and gluten-free options, but several reported greasy or bland plates, uneven meat portions, missing sides, and unreliable takeout timing. Sushi and some appetizers drew criticism. The restaurant can feel quiet yet occasionally disorganized during busy shifts; parking is limited in a rear lot. Worth trying for noodles and casual dining, but approach takeout and sushi with caution.

Just wrapped up dinner, and it was fantastic! June, our waitress, was an absolute delight—so cheerful and answered all our questions while making excellent recommendations. The food was served hot, and each dish had its own unique and delicious flavor. The only downside was that I ordered too much food! This place is also perfect for breakfast. I’ll definitely be coming back. No need to look elsewhere—this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Hilton Head area. Yum!

Ms. June was incredibly warm and friendly. The food was outstanding, and there was a great selection of wines and martinis. They also offered gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions.

I just ordered from this restaurant for the first time, and it was a bit disappointing. My order wasn't ready when the website indicated; in fact, it hadn't even been placed until my husband arrived to pick it up. He mentioned that the place was quite disorganized. We ended up spending nearly $84, including the tip, but two of our platters were missing the white rice. The vegetable fried rice was excessively greasy, and the orange chicken lacked any real spiciness.

As for the food, it was a bit inconsistent—the dishes we received varied from hot to cold, and the portion sizes of meat were quite uneven. It felt a bit scattered overall. However, I am likely to give it another try since I understand it was a hectic day for them. I highly recommend the noodle dishes; the rice was decent, but I wouldn’t recommend the sushi. If the owner is reading this, I suggest updating the menus to indicate which vegetables are included with each entrée. The menu is quite extensive and can be confusing. A great example of a well-organized menu is found at Taipei Express in Charlotte, NC. They really know how to do it right, and I think it would be beneficial to follow their lead!

The food was exceptional in both quality and flavor. The service was quick and very friendly. I would definitely return. As for parking, there isn't any available directly at the restaurant; you'll need to park in the back and walk about 100 feet.
