What Lance Liberti likes about Canoe Club:
The Canoe Club has a very creative seasonal menu featuring many fresh fares from the local seafood selection. The roasted oyster appetizer was particularly good, as was the black grouper. Esthetically the restaurant is beautiful and well designed but the excellence stops there. Overpriced as everything on the property is, you wouldn’t mind paying if you gut a good meal but none of the 6 of us did. The gumbo was stone cold as were the meatballs; fish entrees were uninspired and the steaks were also cold. It’s too bad because there is massive potential with this venue. View all feedback.
