Was User at Placke's a mag?
Placke took a great recommendation from a nice lady. The Catfish Buffalo fritters, priced at $8.50 for two pieces, are a fantastic deal. The fish, baked beans, side salad (which is about the size of most large salads), and coleslaw are all delicious! Highly recommended! View all feedback.

My dad and I were passing through Bluffs, IL today and saw the quaint little diner, Placke's. We decided to stop and try their food. Not only was the food delicious but the people were friendly and the atmosphere was great! We decided we MUST return soon to enjoy some more of their yummy food.
