This is a fantastic little place to grab a bite and relax. The service is fast and friendly. I’ve never had a bad meal here.
My dad and I were passing through Bluffs, IL today and saw the quaint little diner, Placke's. We decided to stop and try their food. Not only was the food delicious but the people were friendly and the atmosphere was great! We decided we MUST return soon to enjoy some more of their yummy food.
I'm not sure if they have new staff, but I noticed on my receipt for a to-go order that they mistakenly added a tip of $3.82. The food was good, but perhaps they should train their employees on how to use the register properly. Customers, make sure to always check your receipts—this kind of thing happens more often than you'd think!
Definitely recommend their Horseshoe!
Wonderful little place in Bluffs, right on Illinois 100. Great food and service. If you're out travel the backroads and you're near this place, stop for a bite.
