This restaurant was terrible. The vegetables they had were old, including brown lettuce. The employee working there seemed half-awake and barely able to function. The owners tried to improve the situation but I still won't be returning. Four other customers also said they would not come back. The employee told the person in front of me that she hadn't had time to get more change and wished him a nice day while keeping his 56 cents.
The lady working wouldn't even look at the coupon I had presented to make sure the establishment accepted them. But she immediately informed me I could only make an order for sandwiches off the Build You Own menu, which I wasn't familiar with. I opted out of ordering and went to the Subway in Bluefield, VA instead. Where the coupon was absolutely accepted there, no questions asked. It was a little after 9pm and she was or appeared to be the only one working but I was also the only customer in the building.
I visited this restaurant at around 6 PM on March 5th, 2023. Unfortunately, they were out of the first two items we wanted on our sandwiches, so I requested pepper jack cheese instead. To my surprise, I was told that they had no cheese at all! The staff members seemed to lack energy and work ethic, resembling a sloth. This Subway used to be much better than our local one, but after this experience, we do not plan on returning.
The lobby is currently under renovation, so seating is not available. However, everything else about the experience was enjoyable.
