Never would have thought I’d leave a one star review of this restaurant after 25 years, but my wife was treated so badly tonight by a Spanish waitress we’ve never seen before who brought our meals out and only came back with the check. Never would have thought I’d leave a one star review of this restaurant after 25 years, but my wife was treated so badly tonight by a Spanish waitress we’ve never seen before who brought our meals out and only came back with the check. She argued with my wife over a side of cheesey corn that didn’t taste right. Told her she wasn’t going to argue with her about it and refused to take it off the ticket. Never thought a horrible, curt waitress and a bad side of cheesey corn would be the end of my dining experiences here after all these years. I guess one bad waitress can ruin a restaurant, but this one sure has. She was just so mean to my wife she cried on the way home ?
Very nice workers and a positive welcoming environment, the Mac n cheese was expensive for the small amount received.
Best steak fries, hot with crisp. Pulled pork sandwich has a good hit of smoke.Service is mom and pop, folksy and real. Beer is served and limited yet they always have a high octane craft beer. Love the place
So this is our go to barbecue joint that we like. It is smaller and a little more intimate but the food is top notch.Set in a strip mall it is in a nice location for the hotel guests in the Northland as well as easily accessible from the interstate. The owner is almost always in the kitchen and behind the counter serving up deliciousness. The food is a smokier, semisweet barbecue and cooked to perfection. The portions are just a LITTLE bit smaller than I would expect but the food is quite filling. Our favorite is the two meat dinner with the burnt ends and the brisket. The sides are quite tasty as well. My favorite being the cheesy corn. The staff are all quite friendly and outgoing. Fun to talk to and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and well kept.Vegetarian options: It is a barbecue restaurant so not too many options for a vegetarian.Parking: It is in a strip mall so parking is what it is given that type of location.Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables to get a chair under but the concrete out front leaves something to be desired. No fault of the restaurant but the management company of the strip mall.
Under pressure we ordered from this place. The wings tasted unseasoned and old. No napkins, no forks. The portions were ok though. Terrible
