The property and restaurant are beautiful, but it wasn’t busy and we still waited a long time for our food and then for the check. The service was just not great overall. The portions were large and filling, and the potato wedges were tasty. However, my omelet was more like a greasy egg scramble, and the biscuit was dry and hard.

I made a reservation for an early dinner last Tuesday, but they ran out of three main menu items: Trout, Rabbit, and Snapper. It’s surprising to be out of such staple dishes in the late afternoon or early evening, especially since they weren’t busy and I can’t attribute it to high customer volume. The DLT was tasty, and the scallops were good as well, though they weren't served hot. On the positive side, we dined outdoors, and the property and views were beautiful!
