The people at this restaurant are very friendly and the food is excellent, made from scratch. We tried the fried pickles and onion rings as sides. My wife had the beef brisket and I had the pulled pork plates. Everything was top-notch, and the portions were generous. We will definitely be returning, thanks to Kay and Company. A few days later, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I tried their house-made sausage gravy and cookies, and they were amazing.
The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous and the food is outstanding. I am excited to come back and try their breakfast menu. Everything is made fresh from scratch daily. What a delightful surprise!
This is the classic southern bbq spot. Next to the road, smokers back very ingenious southern hospitality. Food portions are overwhelming. We had many leftovers. Taste is absolutely at the point. It is similar to Kansas City style and honestly the best I found in the area. Pig Nachos chicken wing,
Ordered nachos, Mac n cheese, fries, tea, pulled pork plate and chocolate cake. Nachos were good but would have preferred to have the cheese melted on top that would have made them perfect. French fries are so good, mac n cheese was amazing. Sweet tea was soooo good not too sweet. My husband has the pulled pork plate he said it was really good. My one year old son loved his Mac n cheese and fries. The chocolate cake that I took to go because I was so full from the nachos I ate was the best chocolate Cake I have had in a long time. I live about 45 minutes away and was near by for an event but I am definitely driving back.
