Sahm's At Eagle Pointe - Bloomington

Wife and I stopped by and had dinner on a Tuesday evening. The place was over half full and we got taken to our table very quickly and our waitress took our drink order at that time. The restaurant is very clean and very well appointed. Our waitress brought us our drinks and took our order. I had their meatloaf dinner with tots and salad. Wife had their chicken cranberry salad. They only took maybe 10 min and our order was delivered. I ordered a full order and wished I'd only order half OMG! 3 slices and a ton of tots. Wife's salad she was smart and only ordered half an order) was a heaping bowl. Both entries were delicious and way too much for us to eat at one sitting. Price was fair too. $52 total. We give Sahms 5 stars for service and amount and quality of the food.

Food was okay... I had the chef salad and the veggies were great but grilled chicken was not what I expected. Friends got pizza and nachos and those looks amazing! Service was good.

Food is ok but the service is extremely slow...lots of and turnover and seemingly understaffed. Great ambiance though and occasionally good service! Just hit and miss.

Before I go into this- the young woman on the phone was very kind and helpful.I got buffalo wings which I requested to be extra crispy. Not only were they definitely not buffalo, but they weren 't crispy at all. I called and told them the wings weren 't buffalo and just asked for a refund on the wings (bc whatever sauce it was... was WAYYYYY too seasoned. Blew my palette out) and was met with something to the tune of Our sauce just tastes different .... buffalo sauce is buffalo sauce, my man. And this was definitely not that. They offered me a 50% discount off the order and I took that just to not argue.I also got the Brussel sprouts and hashbrown casserole. Casserole was just mush and everything was overly salty. And I love salt.I 'm a firm believer in, It ain 't seasoned until you 're sneezin but the seasoning was just over the top for me.The cook on the Brussels was very nice though.Two stars bc the food just wasn 't pleasant at all. But nobody was rude to me and they did offer half off the order.

Went to Oktoberfest. Food came out cold. Spaetzle Mac and cheese was awful. Tasted like it had been sitting and add more cheese and was very cold. Got dessert which was a small piece of coffee cake wrapped in plastic. Worst meal ever. Waitress was very sweet. That was the only thing good. Very very big disappointment! Does not deserve a star.
