We're not from Bloomington, but whenever we visit, we always make sure to stop by Lupitas for some delicious food. It's great that they now have a restaurant in the shop, although we haven't had the chance to dine there yet. We love the wide variety of products they sell, including cookware. What User doesn't like about Lupita's:
The chicken quesadilla was tasty, but my husband requested onions and peppers, and they didn't have any peppers available. Additionally, the onions weren't grilled before being added. The staff in the kitchen and at the counter lacked basic customer service skills. Wonderful and so very gracious to have a great taco establishment around here. As a semi truck driver I always want to eat restaurant quality style food, like as if I’m home cooking food that’s not frozen or already prepared. Here at lupitas I got all of the taste I would want from home and the price was a HUGE WOW factor. Beautiful tacos, beautiful prices, and a very beautiful hospitable man serving and dishing up these wonderful flavorful food. Thank you for a great and beautiful experience for this trucker.
Came to try them for the first time. I came in to get some food, i got terrible service (lack of) and didn?t even get my food. I will not be coming back.
Clean and organized grocery store with a restaurant inside. Friendly staff.
It's a small supermarket with a restaurant next to it, I was told they're in the process of transitioning to a new owner. Unfortunately I have to take this as the cause of the poor service I received, food was good but they didn't have the full menu available. Hopefully they will take better care of customers under the new ownership.
We are not from Bloomington so when we do go to visit we enjoy stopping by Lupitas to pick up a few things. It's nice that there's a restaurant inside the store now although we have not had the chance to eat there yet. Love huge variety of items that are for sale in the store including cookware. Always our favorite Mexican grocery store to stop at!
