Cynthia Moriarty Catering - Bloomington

WOW! Cynthia did our April 2023 wedding and we couldn 't be MORE happy with how our dinner turned out. Not only was Cynthia extremely flexible and easy to work with (we had to do our tasting via FaceTime with my MIL being there in person), she listened to exactly what we wanted and executed out an amazing meal. She is just one of those vendors business owners who knows exactly what they are doing, how to do it properly, and has a game plan to make it happen.One thing that really stood out to us was that after our wedding, Cynthia reached out and refunded us excess service amounts that weren 't used completely on her own volition. It was refreshing to see such a transparent and honest vendor.

Cynthia was absolutely fabulous! She was very professional but her warm nature and approach made it seem like she was an old friend! She seemed to genuinely care about us and our event, taking time to hear our story and get a sense of our 'vision ' for the reception of our wedding. Her food was phenomenal--we got so many complements on how wonderful everything was. Our event was everything we hoped and she played a large part in that. Would highly recommend her for catering any event!

Cynthia did an absolutely beautiful job catering our wedding. From the moment we read her philosophy on cooking/food and saw examples of her work, we knew she was exactly the right person to work with. The food and wine at our wedding ere incredibly important to us and she helped us create a menu that represented us, down to doing a mashed potato bar with the same toppings my now husband used the first time he ever cooked for me. She was also great at providing options for some of our guests with dietary restrictions. Cynthia also made our wedding cake and we had so much fun going to her home for a tasting a few months before the wedding. Her team was kind and professional and all of our guests are absolutely raving about the food. So many people came up to us making sure everyone had been served so they could get seconds! Cynthia is down to earth, communicative, detail-oriented, so fun to work with and an absolute artist in the kitchen. I want to come up with an excuse to have another event just so we can eat more of her creations!

Cynthia catered our daughter's wedding. The food was FANTASTIC!!! The guests went on and on about the delicious food. The wedding cake was not only gorgeous but so delicious. Her servers were attentive and friendly...even Cynthia herself worked the event. If you want gorgeous food that is prepared by a true chef, use her!! You will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about Cynthia to accurately describe my feelings in working with her. She is absolutely a joy to work with and the whole wedding rehearsal dinner and reception dinner and dessert planning process was so easy going. Our guests RAVED that we had the best wedding food they have ever experienced. I can personally say that being lactose and gluten intolerant...her GF LF red velvet cake was the best I have ever had in my life. My husband and I have already decided to order it every year on our wedding anniversary. She is AMAZING!
