Their pizza is not as oily, the crust is lighter and fluffier (similar to Papa John's), and they offer a vegan cilantro pesto (along with BBQ and buffalo) for those looking for a change from traditional tomato sauce. The pesto has a nice level of spiciness. I appreciate the variety of toppings available, including a selection of vegetables, as well as mushrooms, potatoes, and beans. My personal favorite is the sun-dried tomatoes. Aver's has a dedicated vegan menu which makes ordering easy. They are transparent about the ingredients in their dough, which is helpful. The breadsticks are also tasty. While Aver's may not be as budget-friendly as Azzip or Papa John's, it is definitely a rewarding treat. For those looking for vegan meat options, Azzip may be a better choice, but I personally prefer Aver's for their thicker crust, family-sized pizzas, and high-quality ingredients. The addition of vegan cheese to their menu really elevated the experience. Overall, Aver's offers really delicious pizza.
