Not much to complain. And for a fair price. I know this does still mean expensive relative to other countries but fair compared to swiss cities like Zurich.Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Das Essen war s... read more Schöne Terrasse mit wunderschöner Aussicht, freundlicher Empfang, gute Weine im offenausschrank, spannende, für mich etwas fleischlastige Karte. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service freundlich. Etwas negativ finde ich die 80iger Jahre Einrichtung mit Säulen und Bögen und dass wir trotz Wein Konsum von über CHF 100 fünf Franken für das Wasser bezahlen mussten.

Peter and Brigitte Gschwendtner run... read more There is an a la Carte menu at the restaurant in Hotel Castle but we were never tempted to stray from the evening set menu. Peter and Brigitte Gschwendtner run a very fine kitchen and an excellent restaurant. The evening set meal is four courses served by a highly trained professional staff all of whom exude a warmth and interest in their guests without ever being intrusive.We sampled seven different evening meals, each one of which was perfectly balanced, delicious and a delight on the plate. The pattern is an appetiser, followed by soup, main course with accompaniments and desert. Those serving always ask if there is anything on the menu a guest cannot or does not like to eat and changes are made with maximum discretion.Ingredients are all sourced locally with plenty of fresh herbs, freshly caught river fish and meat reared in the lush Goms Valley. The dishes are elegantly cooked and presented allowing flavours to be fully appreciated and leaving the diner well satisfied without feeling over fed.
