We were able to stop by for the Sunday carvery today after our walk and it was delicious! The meat servings were very generous and all the trimmings were high quality, including crispy potatoes! It might be a good idea to make a reservation, as we were only a party of two and arrived towards the end of the carvery service, but the food was still hot, fresh, and tasty. The landlord was also very friendly.

After reading the reviews for this pub, we decided to make a reservation for Saturday night and we are so happy we did. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. Just like others have mentioned, the portions were generous and of good quality, all at very reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning in the future.

A charming rural pub with fantastic service, welcoming staff, and delicious, affordable food. I highly recommend trying the roast pork, which was all homemade and accompanied by delicious apple sauce. I would recommend this pub to anyone, as the beer prices are reasonable and the establishment is kept very clean.

The Sunday roast at this restaurant is delicious, good value, and tastes like home-cooked food. The staff were extremely friendly and were very accommodating to our group, which included two young children. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
