The Avon offers a picturesque location with a variety of food options, from great pizzas to disappointing fish and chips. The Adventure Centre is perfect for kids, with friendly instructors ensuring everyone has a great time. Walkers Cafe is ideal for a post-Walk refreshment, offering top-notch tea, soup, and sandwiches. The area is family-friendly, but could benefit from more activities for children. Staff across the board are helpful and accommodating, making it a pleasant experience for all visitors. The only downsides include overpricing, average coffee, and a need for more amenities for kids. Overall, a recommended spot for a family outing.

Place was amazing, walk was great, lake views are spectacular, pizza is so good and so we're the churros, but the coffee shop with indoor space was average, coffees served were very average and cold... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Avon:
It's a beautiful place but they need to sort out the basics. My wife and I in our late sixties had visited here on Thursday at around I was on crutches my wife had to ask several people where we could order coffee and toasted sandwiches. The bus in the car park had nobody in it. We were on the wooden table benches nearest the building After a trek by my wife we were told to order in the Ice cream parlour but there wa... Beautiful setting!! The pizza at the big blue bus is fantastic!!! Sadly you pay €3 for parking just to collect tajewlaway pizza. If you're eating there though, then I don't mind the parking fee .
We were going to the lake and it was really nice. And the food was amazing definitely recommend!
I didn’t stay in the hotel but I went for the pizza truck which is lovely. It would be great if on busy days such as Saturday or Sundays in summer they would have events and live music
We love the walks around the lake and the nice vibe over summer, so we decided to get married in the Docker’s bar, with the lake view as our background. We were blessed with a beautiful and sunny day. The ceremony and the small family reception was wonderful. As it is a dog friendly venue our little one was there with us, and this was a big highlight. The food was delicious and all the service provided by the staff members was excellent. I can’t wait to come back and revisit our recent made memories!
