The West Wicklow House offers a lively atmosphere with live music and friendly staff. Service and food quality are generally good, except for some issues with noise levels and portion sizes. While some feel the food lacks freshness and is preheated, others find it delicious and great value for money. The pub is praised for its cleanliness, warmth, and hospitality, with special mention of the Cajun combo and fish and chips. Overall, the West Wicklow House in Blessington is recommended for a pleasant dining experience with excellent service, despite a few minor setbacks.

Fairly basic menu and a bit on the pricy side for what you get. Not much in the way of better alternatives locally.

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch there, having driven miles out of my way to get there. The service could have been better, although in their defence it was a very busy day there. I will definitely eat there again, maybe not on such a busy day.

After hearing about the west wicklow we decided to give it a go for lunch after a day out. Had roast beef sandwich and lasagnes. Sandwich came out in 2 slices of cheap white bread with a slice of roast beef. It was the woerst sandwich I've ever seen served in a pub. Could have been so much better presented. Lasagne was cold and I'm 100% certain it was heated in a microwave. Cheese and pasta was like mush. Honestly I've never written a bad review or complained to staff before but this needed to be addressed. We were met with a bit of attitude and was not taken on board. Would like to think they could treat a customer a little better than they had. Will not be going back or recommending the west wicklow.

Was with a group of 25+ celebrating a great win for 2 Dublin P&P teams. We were looked after with such professionalism. Food was absolutely fab, so tasty and a great choice of dishes. Great value for money. Deffo recommend and will absolutely return.
