I have be going to mick dempseys for year and chips and burgers are the best.i havent be there in a while does anyone known when he is open again
Real old style chipper with homemade chips. No where like it.
This take away is a must see for people who are not from the area. Mick is a real eccentric character. Forget your gourmet burgers and side salads. There is three things on the menu chips, sausages, and burgers which you can have onions and red or not. The food is good and tasty, but the real draw is the banter. This is a little niche of old Irish charm.
A Blessington legend ! I have been going here since I was a kid. The chips are always delicious and have never changed.
Only found 2 dead rats in my chips
