I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. I tried the pâté, which was to die for, and my friend enjoyed the clam chowder, which was also quite nice. The atmosphere was great, and we shared some good laughs. For dessert, we had coffee that was definitely worth the price. Once again, I had an exceptional lunch at Wairau River Winery. The food and service were consistently fantastic, complemented by wonderful wines and ample outdoor seating options.
I had a wonderful meal! I ordered the pâté, which was absolutely delightful. My friend had the mussel chowder, which was also quite nice. For my main course, I had the salmon, and it was fantastic. We also indulged in dessert and coffee, which was definitely worth the price. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I highly recommend visiting this winery.
This is our fourth visit to Wairau River Restaurant and always very enjoyable, service is professional but caring, food always interesting and extremely good and atmosphere always busy and fun.
Never dissapoints. Food, wine, service and setting are all top notch. Best place to brunch/lunch.
