Located right on the Derwent Walk and Cycle Path, this restaurant is a fascinating piece of history. The Falafel wrap was delicious, but the sausage roll seemed a bit past its prime. The vegan jacket potato and brownie were homemade but nothing out of the ordinary. There are plenty of seating options both inside and outside, making for a pleasant visit overall.

This restaurant serves a nice selection of vegan options, with about a third of the menu suitable for vegans. The available choices are really good. We tried a hotdog with whirl and garlic mayo, which was delicious and had a great texture. We also shared a sausage roll, which was tasty but the pastry was a bit too flaky. To fuel us up for our hike, we also got two treacle jackets and some hot drinks. The jackets were excellent and the coffee was delicious, it gave me a big boost of energy. I would definitely recommend visiting this cultural center and cafe.

Located right on the Derwent Walk and cycle path, this restaurant has a prime spot with a rich history. The falafel wrap was delightful, however, the sausage roll seemed a bit tired. The vegan flapjack and brownie were typical homemade treats. With ample seating both indoors and outdoors, it was a very pleasant experience overall.

A lovely cafe with about a third of the menu suitable for vegans. The options available are also very good as well. We ordered a hotdog each with onions and garlic mayo, which were delicious and a very good texture and a sausage roll to share that was flavoursome but the pastry was a bit too flaky. To give us some energy on our walking route we also bought two treacle flapjacks and some hot drinks. The flapjacks were awesome by the way and the coffee and latte I'd give a big thumbs up too . I would definitely recommend a visit to the heritage centre and café.
