I decided to try the veggie sausage sandwich, but I waited 20 minutes for it to be made. When I finally received it, I was disappointed to find that it only consisted of bread and a sausage, with no other toppings. The sandwich was dry and lacking in flavor. While I appreciate that they offer vegan options, the long wait time and subpar quality were disappointing.

The falafel wrap was delightful, however, the sausage ro... read more Located right on the Derwent Walk and cycle path, this restaurant has a prime spot with a rich history. The falafel wrap was delightful, however, the sausage roll seemed a bit tired. The vegan flapjack and brownie were typical homemade treats. With ample seating both indoors and outdoors, it was a very pleasant experience overall.

We ordered a hotdog each with onions and garlic mayo, which were delicious and a very good texture and a sausage roll to share that was flavoursome but the pastry was a bit too flaky. To give us some energy on our walking route we also bought two treacle flapjacks and some hot drinks. The flapjacks were awesome by the way and the coffee and latte I'd give a big thumbs up too . I would definitely recommend a visit to the heritage centre and café.

I ordered a veggie sausage that needed 20min to be made. it only ended the broth and one sausage, no other ingredients that was dry. Nice that they try to make vegan food, but it turns out to take a long time and the quality is disappointing.
