Patio Drive In - Blanding
Patio Drive In
Description
Nestled in Blanding, Utah, this small-town diner serves carefully made burgers, hand-cut and curly fries, and outrageously thick shakes that often steal the show. Friendly, quick staff and reasonable prices make it a reliable stop for families, travelers and late-night orders — delivery and drive-thru available — while salads and sandwiches add variety. Occasional hiccups include inconsistent soda carbonation, missing toppings, and extra charges for condiments, so expect excellent comfort food with a few service quirks.

We had an excellent experience! The food was scrumptious, and even though there was a bit of a wait, we enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit to keep us entertained. We ordered the Swiss burger with green chili and devoured it so quickly that I couldn’t snap a photo! I’ll definitely want to order it again! We also shared the loaded chili fries, which were incredibly delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed them! The portion size was substantial, and sharing it was just right for us! The banana cream shake is absolutely fantastic too! I can’t wait to order again!
We stopped in for dinner. The place gives off an older dinner vibe. You order your food at a counter and get a number to place on your table so they know where to bring the food out to. The ordering counter has a light system to give you an idea of the wait on food. My girls opted for a kids burger and chicken strips with fries. My hubby got a bacon and guacamole burger with fries and I got a chicken and quac sandwich. We all of course opted for milkshakes. We ended up with an Oreo, Butterfinger, Hot Fudge, and Banana Split. All of the food was great and it actually came out faster than advertised. We would come back again if in town again.
We visited this charming spot while staying in Blanding, Utah. They offer burgers, sandwiches, salads, and ice cream. My husband opted for a large burger with fresh-cut fries, while I chose Lana's salad, which included Craisins, chicken, and mandarin oranges. Both dishes were quite tasty. We also shared a hot fudge shake, which was delicious. Overall, it’s a delightful place, and I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
If you enjoy dry burgers and the lingering scent of burnt food that clings to your clothes for days, this is the spot for you! The unique atmosphere is further intensified by a phone that rings every 10 seconds for 10 seconds, yet no one ever answers it. It felt like I was trapped in an alternate universe where only I could hear the phone ringing. The service is enthusiastic, with a group of kids just starting their first jobs. I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely return!
Curly fries were unique and very good. Their selection of sodas is also great, and the black cherry soda was amazing. Though my daughter liked her kids' burger, my son and I weren't fans of our sandwiches. The chili burger just has a large grilled green chili on top of it, I was under the impression it was green chili as in the sauce. Not worth the price at $17 for a burger fries and drink. The steak and cheese was good, but they tried to charge me 50 cents for hot sauce that should come with it. Guess that's what I get for tipping when I shouldn't have.... Don't bother with the onion rings, they were super hard and not worth the price let alone an additional up charge.....
