The day is a great guy. He has an incredible collection of Native American jewelry and art for sale. It is hard to find traditional style work by craftsmen. He has a great choice. Some could also be regarded as antiques. Look at this place if you want to see the right things. Coffee is also great, get the Maya style. View all feedback.
Quaint little trading post with beautiful affordable items in a full range of prices for every budget. Owners are the kindest people with tremendous story telling skills and vast knowledge of the region. Don't miss their tasty coffee shop ... Wayne is quite the barista!

If you are looking for an excellent coffee and company you do not see further! Wayne and Maija were such a pleasure to talk and gave great tips in the area and where to explore. The coffee was amazing-I sample craft espresso throughout the country and that was so good that I ordered a second to have for later. There is also a wide selection of handmade local jewelry in their shop. Make yourself a favor and stop!
Hunt's Trading Post was a last minute drive. My husband knew I had a few silver and turquiose earrings as souvenirs of our Las Vegas vacation, NV. We stayed a whole week in Blanding at the beginning of April and had seen that the store closed early morning leaving and late evening return to our motel, and falsely accepted Covid had closed it. On Tuesday, however, we drove out to make some interesting and souvenir shopping. He moved to Hunts when we were surprised that the 'open' sign was lit up. Not to know what I would find, Hunt 's turned out to have the most ingenious choices in silver with turquoise and other semi-precious gem stones Jewlery, pine tooth saws, cultural/natural pearl necklaces, sage and other herbs, beans and other such useful lifestyle articles 's. I found not only the perfect souvenir Dangle AND Post earrings, but we also have fabulous gifts for my boys' daughter, mother, stepfather and sister! A real one-stop souvenir shop! Hunt's is also a coffee shop! Didn't know we're going in and we're going back later this week. The Navajo owner has been there for over 30 years and also has a gallery of local cultural objects in a gallery in another room directly at the shop. Ask him and ask him questions! He and the gallery are fascinating. Even my 11-year-old was enchanted with the cultural wealth of the shop and the gallery!
