Decided I was in the mood for some steak so I chose the Black Angus restaurant in the lobby level of the Holiday inn (Holiday inn express is just across the str... read more Decided I was in the mood for some steak so I chose the Black Angus restaurant in the lobby level of the Holiday inn (Holiday inn express is just across the street). There were few of us considering it was a Tuesday night. This allowed for friendly service. The steak I requested was medium rare and that is just how I got it. I really enjoyed the steak along with some butter whipped mashed potatoes. I also enjoyed the ceasar salad which actually comes with some tender chicken in it. As I am from Canada and accustomed to the waiter bringing the bill I found myself having to go to the counter to generate the bill and pay for it. Don't bother waiting for the tip amount to come up when you pay. I have been told by a local that tipping is not customary in France unless you really received some amazing service and you could chose to leave a little at the table. All in all I enjoyed the meal and found it reasonably priced for Toulouse.
