What Maribel Ferry doesn't like about Blackwater Mine Workers Club:
Very freindly staff....Meal potions very generous at maybe a little high for a Workers club but the only place we eat out in town......all bar facilities and keno. Outdoor area is availible with a kids area so you can just chill whole the kids play...... View all feedback.
The Blackwater Mine Workers Club is a great choice for a cold beer, to play pool, bet at the TAB, flutter on the pokies, or have a lovely meal. Hubby and I ate at the club bistro tonight after a long day of travel and were very impressed. Like a typical club, meal orders are placed at the counter where you are issued an order number. Unlike many other clubs however there are no noisy buzzers or need to go and collect meals! Weather you choose to sit in the restaurant, lounge, bar or very nice outdoor area, the friendly staff will bring your meals to you. Our meals arrived very quickly and were wonderful. I highly recommend the Crispy Skinned Salmon... the entire dish is fabulous. Tip - order sauces and dressings on the side as they can be a bit heavy handed.

Great little place to stop in for a feed or a drink...or even both. The military memorabilia adds an RSL feel to this quite little town. Defiantly stop in for a feed and tackle the hunger buster streak.
Friendly staff, the food was excellent and good value for money. The courtesy bus driver was more like a tourist guide - he was lovely!
