What diane warmington doesn't like about Woodheads Cafe:
For years we have used Woodheads when home, but last Thursday night 24th October, we had a disappointing meal, steak pie and gravy, extra gravy with it, with so much salt level in both, it was horrid, mushy peas were not as usual, which was a shame, asked for milk and at first told no but they did serve me some, hopefully this will get better for next year after their winter break, the need for salt cut down is a mus... The food is excellent with generous portion sizes at a reasonable price. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated since our last visit. What more could you ask for a lunch spot in Blackpool?
I visited the restaurant twice for cheesy chips and beans, along with a drink. The prices were reasonable and the staff was fantastic. The only downside was the lack of available staff.
The best fish and chip shop in Blackpool. Everything is made fresh to order at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Amazing food and service with a smile as always from Paul we had it to take out some ate in the car and I saved ours til I got back home to bispham it was still hot as Paul double bagged it . Fish chips and peas for me and a burger with chips for my husband . So glad we got chance to go yesterday. I e been going there for 26 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Well worth a visit if you come to Blackpool .
When in Blackpool this is the only place we will eat! Brilliant service and food is amazing every time! Refurbishment is stunning, great work! Love you have kept little keepsakes from the old cafe! If it wasn’t for your manager Paul we wouldn’t continue to come back! 21 years of visiting and will continue to.
