The food was nice, the staff was friendly and once our plates were empty, it was thrown away by the staff. I was in many buffet restaurants in the past that give lots instead of quality, but I can honestly say the Gurkha Bar on Waterloo Road in Blackpool is definitely the opposite. Great value for money and highly recommended.
I have a table for my mother 60. Birthday booked and we all have a wonderful time!! The staff was helpful and friendly, let me put balloons on the table and even offered to put candles in their cakes and play happy birthday for them! The food was delicious and even my 2 years old toes!! Would highly recommend The Gurkha and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you.
The Ghurka is an Asian buffet restaurant with everything you can eat for £13.99 per adult. Although the price rises slightly during the weekend. Whatever the price is worth every penny. There is a fee when you leave a lot of plates on your meal The choices of appetizers, nets, sides and desserts are amazing with each freshly cooked. And what a choice!!!! You also have a good selection of drinks from the bar. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and obligated. The toilets are very clean as the restaurant itself. There is an interesting area about the history of the Ghurka regime with photos and books and various other objects. It is worth booking, though not necessarily, as it is usually very busy at the opening on 5.30. It is closed on Mondays, but opens every other night. There is also a hotel, a separate pub and a beer garden area. Worth visiting an experience.
Everything was fantastic, thanks. No big buffet, but the quality is very, very good. Have many tips of meat and vegetables basic dish. Everything was really fresh and delicious, definitely means that the chefs have good experiences. I like very much if the quality is more important, then the amount!!! Nice, friendly staff! We definitely come back, and I recommend for all this very nice family restorer! Thanks again for all employees.
Me and my mum were staying at Blackpool for the illuminations this weekend and found this wonderful little gem on trip advisor, we called to book in and they were very accommodating. Mum is a very fussy eater and she thoroughly enjoyed the meal with plenty to choose from. There was a wonderful selection and we were very pleased with the restaurant overall. The team were very friendly, efficient and discreet. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and had a lovely feel to it. Thank you all for a nice evening :
