The food at this restaurant was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the staff. The man who worked there was down to earth and had a great attitude, making the experience worth the 45-minute drive. Although this place the food is excellent it’s not always open very hit n miss with his opening times on many occasions on a Friday night from early eve til midnight/early hours it’s shut which is a real shame especially if your making the effort to pass all the other takeaways.. What a great find this fish and chip shop was! Small but tastefully decorated and very clean. Four round tables with seating for 16 if you wanted to eat in and at no extra charge. Food was served on a fish shaped plate, which was a nice touch. The server, was also the chef and waiter and he was very friendly. He paid attention to detail when serving, cleaning and cooking. The fish was high quality, as was the batter. Big homemade chips and lovely mushy peas. The quality of the food was worth the wait. Everything was cooked fresh. A varied alternative menu was also available. I highly recommend Finesse fish and chips, Blackpool.

Called late on a Friday . The owner did not hesitate to fire up the fryer although he was ready for closing . We had a fish , chips , gravy and peas on a plate to eat in . The food was faboulous and we even got an extra piece of fish gratis . SUPERB !!

This place has the best chips in town and the fish is excellent. We will definitely be back. We have tried many places for fish and chips, but this one has the best hand-cut chips and fresh fish. The portions are big and finger-licking good.
