The pub is ideally situated for vi... read more Visited The Saddle Inn twice now. I returned for a 2nd visit on the strength of the 1st visit with my wife son in April 2022. The pub is ideally situated for visits to Blackpool FC only 15 mins walk. Although obviously a locals pub, the welcome was warm. A good selection of hand pulled real ale with a friendly service. Pub classic menu went for the beef in ale pie and chips which were hot tasty as was the seasonal veg gravy. For sure, I’ll be coming back when I next make a trip to the footie

The peas were watery on plate and stone col... read more Was a busy day but the food was disgusting . This is a drinkers pub not a food pub . Cod and chips and garden peas . The peas were watery on plate and stone cold the fish looked like it was cooked in filthy oil . But also the chef uses his hands to touch cooked chicken and plate up then handles all the other food no washing of hands or sanitiser no just use the apron . So would not rate this place as a good eating experience good is vile

We all ordered food which was tasty and great value for money, would highly recommend a visit, we definitely be back again soon

The bar is small and it took a long time to get s... read more We visited here on bank holiday Monday. It was really hot and therefore everyone was out in their beer garden. The bar is small and it took a long time to get served. A group of us were all ordering food and the woman serving responded as though she was annoyed we were there. The food took a long time to arrive and when it did it wasn’t cooked properly. I imagine this is a good pub when there are less people there, but I wouldn’t go back if it was busy.
