I also place a notiz especially for drinks and the fa cu... read more We booked on Saturday 14th May, a table (online in advance) in the counting house for 2 for 4.45 clock. I also place a notiz especially for drinks and the fa cup final football. I even had an email reminder of my booking in advance. when we arrived, there was no worker on the door when we found one, he didn't know about our booking. it's new things for me, but we'll find a table. the pub was of course busy why we had booked, and the only table he could find was under a television, which means they could not see football anyway. to the luck has made another couple for us on a big table place. we ordered drinks on the greene king app, which was good, and also a cheese and twill and thunfish mayo sandwich with chips and cheese garlic bread. it took about an hour to eat, unfortunately the brot broke off every time we picked up a sandwich, the brot had grown clearly. the garlic bread cheese we thought didn't arrive. we were only able to tell a coworker when our tellers were cleared away. that was a bad service and a disappointing experience all around.

Conrad and... read more This year (2023) we visited Blackpool three times. One of our favorite spots for lunch is the Counting House, located near the North Pier and shops. Conrad and his staff are incredibly friendly and focused on providing a great customer experience. The meals are always of high quality and served hot. While the decor could use a bit of updating, there have been some improvements since our visits in March and June 2023. Overall, we enjoy dining at the Counting House for its value, good food, and excellent customer service. Conrad makes delicious cocktails, so we highly recommend trying one. Yesterday, we had a lovely Blue Lagoon, and today we are going for a Long Island Ice Tea. The restaurant is great for couples and families, with live sports screens and gaming machines. The menu is extensive with reasonable prices. Thank you again, Conrad, for your warm welcome and hospitality. We look forward to returning in March 2024.
