I am not in love with many pubs in darwen, but I enjoy going in the vic, it has a great atmosphere is good running and has some great characters.

A genuine pub with a fantastic owner. The entertainment nights are top-notch. Hands down the best pub in Darwen. 5 stars.
It is wonderful to see the Vic back in the center of things where it has always belonged, at the heart of the community for both young and old. I used to be the landlady around 30 years ago, back when I was Christine Hayhurst with my then-husband Paul. We had such wonderful times and made great memories there.
