finding a good, authentic tamale was so far an almost impossible search for me! I enjoyed a vegan tamale and a vegetarian tamale, both delicious. my man had two veggie empanadas and enjoyed them too. the restaurant is located on the main roads of the black mountain in a funky looking house. do not let them be set off from the outside. sellige and cozy inside with wonderful service. we will visit here again and again.... Ok the onion soup was the best I ever had . The crepes were a 1 it was like eating a napkin with one slice of cheese and one slice of ham. The tasteless tamales were a 2 . We both didn?t feel good a hour later . View all feedback.
Simply delicious food amazing service every single time and we’ve been eating here for years! their savory crepes are so tasty and authentic (they also have dessert crepes and Latin food), and the atmosphere is so charming. We come here for birthdays. The chicken empanada, cheese board, la citron crepe, and stroganoff crepe are a few of our favorites. Always great service. My wife wanted to go somewhere different for our anniversary, so I found La Guinguette we took the drive up to Black Mountain to give it a try. Service was excellent the food was fantastic savory crepe for me and tamales for my wife. We finished with coffee some sweet crepes, and a bill that was surprisingly reasonable. The food was okay. I love French food but nothing French about this place. It can be intimate though so I will give them that Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
