Waves at Blackhead - BLACK HEAD

Worst fish and chips ever got in 56 years, fish cocktails size of 10 cent piece, tasted like off bait, asked for plain salt got chicken salt, cost 26 dollars through whole lot in bin and went home to eat real food. Tell 2 kids working a at counter don't want to be there and shows in their food. Never eat there again was disgusting the only takeaway there on beautiful blackhead beach. What a shame has not got owners that appreciate the spot they have and serve nicer food.

Jay provided excellent customer service and we had a great time chatting with him. I will definitely be returning just for his service.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced, but it appears that the staff lack enthusiasm. I have visited several times and only one server was prompt and attentive while the others seemed disinterested. As someone who also works at a beach cafe, I know the importance of providing excellent customer service. The cafe is lovely, but the staff could greatly improve the overall experience by putting in more effort with the customers.

Called in for a coffee a couple of times. Nice spot, across from the beach, can sit outside and enjoy the view.
