We ate here for dinner. On booking we double checked they did Vegan and the lady said they did. When ordering at the table the waiter said they don’t do anythin... read more We ate here for dinner. On booking we double checked they did Vegan and the lady said they did. When ordering at the table the waiter said they don’t do anything vegan anymore. When we pressed as we had been told when booking he went to the kitchen and after about 5 minutes of deliberating came back to say they could do the risotto’s vegan for us, and the chips or a salad, but nothing else was vegan, including garlic bread and which was made with butter. We ordered the verde risotto which was absolutely delicious! But we also ordered hot chips, which tasted like beef fat, so I am assuming that was not vegan, and a side of veggies which, our mistake for not asking if it was vegan, was actually cooked in Butter. The risotto was great! But wouldn’t be high on my list to recommend to vegans looking for somewhere that is easy to order from! May have changed ownership at some point?
