Reviews - The Tithe Barn
Reviews summary
Nestled in a picturesque setting, The Tithe Barn impresses with its charming atmosphere and a modest yet satisfying menu that caters to both vegetarians and meat lovers. While some patrons rave about the delicious food and friendly service, others recount disappointing experiences marred by inattentive staff and service delays. Reservations are advisable due to limited seating, and guests often enjoy the outdoor terrace, despite occasional issues with wasps. Though the charm is evident, consistency in quality and service seems to waver, leaving some diners eager to return, while others remain hesitant.
Was Anonym at The Tithe Barn a mag?
I had a sausage roll punch option that was vegan, it came with fries and salat it was very nice, the atmosphere and presentation of the deli is beautiful and the staff are really nice to, nice some vegan options, a few of them are more salat. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Tithe Barn:
It didn't seem to be many vegan choices, but the ones that were nice, but the discarded tofu is not for human consumption haha. Pretty expensive for what you get. View all feedback.

For the first time I visited the tithe barn in cosby on Sunday was really impressed by the excellent service, excellent setting excellent eating! it is a hidden gem in leicestershire worth a visit.
My first visit this morning, great breakfast! very recommended for quality eating and service, will definitely be back soon.
Lovely food and setting the only down side was looking forward to the piece of flapjack I took home, as to full to have dessert, only to find I was given the lemon ginger flapjack instead of original, still very nice. So mayby label the deli counter a bit better so staff know which is which.

Had a lovely experience. We initially came for a turkey sunday dinner, but were disappointed to find that there was no turkey left. This was more than made up for. The manager explained that they did not want to overprepare and waste any, but offered for us to take some of the unprepared turkey home to eat tomorrow. When we declined (we aren't cooking tomorrow), he instead brought us cake on the house. On top of all this, we recieved a considerable 20% off of the build. Not only was the service good, the food tasted lovely. I highly recommend the grilled chicken flatbread. The atmosphere is nice too as the name would suggest, a quaint, cosy barn vibe is present. Easily five stars we will definitely be returning.
Ordered a large Cappucino. I took it back as it was very weak, and asked if I could have an extra shot for which I offered to pay. There was no extra charge but it took at least ten minutes and they weren’t busy. So sad that this beautiful place lacks a happy atmosphere and happy customer service.
Very uninspiring lunch menu, good service by a very overworked waiter, truly disgusting toilet, right next to kitchen, smell wafting through to front of house. Many complaints apparently, owners not interested. Will certainly be giving this a miss in future
Decided to drop in for a cheeky drink on Saturday at 4.30. Walked thru the garden and as need the loo into the bar/restaurant. The server (blonde pony tail kind of blocked the door way and her actual words were 'what do you want ' I said well just a drink please , her reply was well its last orders at 4.45 (it was 4.30 and we close at 5pm , she honestly looked at us as tho we had walked into her house off the street. I said well that 's fine we will be finished by 5pm we only wanted one drink in their lovely terrace/garden. Anyway the drinks were served and were nice, but the attitude and hospitality poor. I am sure the owner would not be happy with this .

There weren't many vegan options available at this restaurant, but the ones that were offered were good. However, I would not recommend the scrambled tofu as it was not tasty. The prices were a bit high considering the portion size.
There aren't a lot of menu options, but there are choices that will also satisfy non-vegetarians. The restaurant has limited indoor seating, so it's recommended to make a reservation or visit on a pleasant day and dine outside. Occasionally, there is a cake offering as well.
