Rock'n 50's Cafe - Bismarck

The food is great here. Best knoephla soup in ND. Prices are very reasonable. Everything I've ordered from the burgers to the salads are great!

Stay away! Very small portions, expensive and messy. Staff very lazy. Boring cafe food.

We had an early dinner at Rock and 50's Café and spent over $30 on three burgers, fries, and a soda. I understand that takeout fries can lose their heat on the way home, but when we bit into ours, they were ice cold on the inside. I reached out to the owner of Rock and 50's to explain the situation, but instead of addressing my concern, he called me a liar. He insisted that there was no way the fries could be cold inside because of the temperature of the oil and how long they were cooked. I felt disrespected and believe I didn't get my money's worth. It's disappointing because we used to be good customers and enjoyed the ambiance there, but after being treated this way, I will never return.

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is outstanding! We visit regularly. Be sure to look for coupons in your local grocery store!

My friends and I visited this restaurant for lunch, and I must say, the atmosphere is fantastic, with a charming 50s theme that perfectly complements its name. I ordered the burger lunch special, while my friends opted for the soup and salad. The burger was tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, my friends absolutely loved the fries and ended up stealing most of mine! They ordered the Knoethla soup and raved about how delicious it was. For me, the decor and attentive waitstaff really made the experience enjoyable, and the reasonable prices were a definite bonus.
