I finally had the chance to try Parallel7, one of the vendors at the recent vegan festival I attended at Wylam Brewery. After receiving plenty of recommendations, I ordered the chikn tikka with sweet and rice, and it was absolutely delicious for just £4. The plant-based chikn tikka pieces had a wonderful texture, complemented by a fragrant masala tikka marinated sauce and a drizzle of raitha on top, along with perfectly cooked rice. I'm looking forward to sampling more of the menu on my next visit!
The vegan wraps are absolutely delicious! The portions are quite generous, offering great value for money. Plus, a small percentage of the profits goes towards helping foxes that are hunted for sport!
I buy the pasties from Parallel7, and they are fantastic. I've also tried them at vegan festivals, and they are delicious. If you haven't tried the mac and cheese yet, you're really missing out—I wish it was available every day. Louise, the owner, is amazing and always looking for ways to expand the menu, so she's open to suggestions!
