We ended up being 'long term residents ' at the Seehof whilst we waited for the construction of our new house to be finished in the nearby village. We stayed in... read more We ended up being 'long term residents ' at the Seehof whilst we waited for the construction of our new house to be finished in the nearby village. We stayed in total here for more than six weeks, with two adults and two young children in two rooms in the side building. Between the time we arrived and now we can see there has been a constant improvement of the hotel facilities and offering thanks to the excellent new management. In the restaurant they are trialling and adding great new dishes to the menu (ask them if they can make the Tagliatelle Al Salmon its incredible! . The rooms are all in the process of being refreshed and upgraded and the outside areas already look great. The children 's playground was a godsend for our two boys (3 and 5 and made our evenings a pleasure the kids were happy and we were too, sitting with a nice aperol spritz and enjoying the beautiful lake view during the warm summer evenings! The surrounding area with the beach at the Artalsee was also great for our stay, meaning we had plenty of activities to keep us busy. The restaurant on the Artalsee beach is also very nice to check out. We cannot compliment the Seehof staff enough they are friendly, flexible and are genuinely really nice people. We 100% recommend staying here!

I o... read more Great location and nice inside too. We were there for lunch with 15 people. We waited a little longer for the drinks even though there was nothing going on. I ordered schnitzel with imperial vegetables and fries. It was tasty but unfortunately very dry. The schnitzels looked fried and the imperial vegetables consisted of a floret of broccoli and a floret of cauliflower and all without any sauce! In my opinion, imperial vegetables also include carrots and peas and with hollandaise sauce or something similar. But it's fine for everyone as they like it.
