Contribute Feedback What Ursula Turner doesn't like about Cafe Birre:
The cost of fresh but basic sandwiches was more than in the Melbourne CBD as was coffee. Although BIRREGURRA is sold as a foody's town because of Brae, it is not an excuse for other venues to overcharge. View all feedback.
After arriving in town late on a Friday afternoon, we were in desperate need of a coffee after a long day of driving and surfing. Upon entering the cafe and looking around, as well as calling out, we found it completely empty with no response. We ended up getting coffee at the pub instead, which was surprisingly good. The deserted cafe left us feeling quite puzzled.

We had quiche and salad which we enjoyed but not memorable. Table not cleaned between customers! We sat outside beside the road which was pleasant enough especially when the sun emerged from behind the clouds
Good coffee, tasty foccaccia, friendly staff. We chose this place from the others in town as it had ample shaded seating court yard at rear.
Don't waste your time here. The restaurant isn't very welcoming, and there are signs everywhere dictating what you can't do. I ordered a coffee when no one else was in line.
