Really nice spot, gorgeous food and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere too and good value, kids meals very generous. Highly recommend after being at Birr Castle it's only a stones throw away! View all feedback.

very deceptive, from the outside it looks tiny, but when they go into the place is huge. the staff are all very friendly attentive. we had dinner here on Sunday evening was beautiful, decent portions good prices. I would highly recommend the baked hake with saffron sauce, absolutely delicious. we will definitely visit again. View all feedback.
Hands down this is one of the most welcoming, endearing pubs I have walked into! From the moment we opened the door, everyone was so friendly, the staff and locals made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was second to none! The food was absolutely delicious! One of the locals and the landlord were having a sing along and everyone joined in. We were so sad to leave but we just happened to find this wonderful pub as we were passing. We are already looking into staying in Birr next time just so we can spend longer in this wonderful pub. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! visiting!
This spot is great for dinner after visiting Birr Castle. Service with a smile and second to none. Very central and easy to find.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Visiting for the first time will definitely be going back on our next visit to Ireland.
