Description

Nestled in the heart of the community, this café offers a mixed experience characterized by its freshly cooked meals and warm atmosphere. Patrons appreciate the generous portions and affordability, particularly at breakfast time. However, some have expressed dissatisfaction with lengthy wait times for food and inconsistent service, highlighting issues such as missed drink orders and limited menu options for sandwiches. While the cleanliness and friendly demeanor of the staff have been praised, others have noted a lack of attention to detail, such as absent napkins and bland flavors. Overall, it serves as a decent spot for a quick bite but falls short of expectations.

The restaurant only offers white bread for sandwiches or toast, with no option for brown bread. The food lacks flavor and is quite bland. For vegans/vegetarians, all food is cooked in the same area, causing some customers to leave. Overall, the restaurant is not the best choice, but it is acceptable for a quick and affordable breakfast option.

I went here last night after I went to a gif last night and was impressed. The service was quick and the chicken was the best fried chicken I have ever had.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it will be my last. Firstly, the table was wobbling so much that we had to move to a different table. The door was open and the place was too cold, so we had to eat with our coats on. I asked for brown bread but was given white instead. They also forgot to put tomatoes on my mom's sandwich, but then gave them to us in a bowl so we had to put them on ourselves. When I went to pay by card, I was told to follow them and had to pay three doors down at the local chip shop without any explanation or apology. Overall, it was a disappointing visit. The food was okay, but having five things go wrong in one visit is not good customer service and needs to be improved.

Went into this cafe and i must say its brilliant, friendly staff and great food, exceptionally clean just reading some of these bad reviews and i find this to be totally unfair ok they dont bring the tea to you so what how hard is it to get up and get it yourself i find these reviews to be very picky. waiting times for food can vary depending how busy they are at orders overall i have no complaints .

My husband and I go here regularly for a cooked breakfast. We would recommend this place, the food is cooked fresh and is very nice and hot. The cleanliness is good and staff cheerful.
