The Ramada Solihull, originally known as Linden House, has a rich history dating back to the 1820s. It was once a boarding school for girls and later became the private residence of a local Doctor. In 1890, the building was purchased by the proprietor of The George Hotel and integrated into the hotel. Today, the Ramada Solihull offers a unique blend of local styles and flavors from North West India, including the famous Tandoori style of cooking. Owned by SGS Hotels (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Subhash Gulati Group, the hotel combines tradition with modern hospitality.

Feedback
Despite some service mishaps, such as lost reservations and slow response times, Jiyaan in Solihull offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious food. While some guests were disappointed by limited menu options, others enjoyed the festive dishes on offer. The restaurant's staff, though lacking in experience, were friendly and accommodating. Overall, patrons enjoyed the flavorful Indian cuisine and generous discounts, making Jiyaan a recommended dining choice for those in the area.
Great dining experience, great choice and exceptional food. Well worth a visit.
Very impressed. in the rule they could expect to pay a premium and or compromise on quality to the convenience in a restaurant connected to a hotel, but quality was excellent and decent worth. many competitions in the city of solihull, but would return. ice cold cobra perfect the hottest day of the year to now!
Great food, good service. party of 15, sat night, and waiting for eating was minimal, no problems with ordering, nice eating. great ambiente too. we had a separate room upstairs. highly recommended for groups.
It was convenient to have the restaurant located within the Ramada Hotel. The meal and drinks for 4 adults cost less than £80, offering good value. The menu was reasonable and similar to most Indian restaurants on the High Street. The food was well-cooked and full of flavor.
Our reservation was not found and we had to wait an hour for a table even though there were empty ones available. The staff made weak excuses about the booking mishap and offered no compensation. The food was mediocre, with the lamb chop starter only consisting of one chop. Overall, we were unimpressed with the amateur service.
