The Crab Barracks - Birmingham

Eating at this seafood restaurant is truly amazing and one of the best experiences I have had. I visit here at least once a week. Mrs. Cathy is one of the best servers they could have, she is incredibly kind. My experience wouldn't be the same without her. Hands down, she is the best. Make sure to ask for her, you won't regret it. On the other hand, the white manager is not friendly unless you are a man, she won't speak to or acknowledge you. The staff should take a cue from Mrs. Cathy, as friendliness should be given to all customers, regardless of personal preferences. Customer service may not be the right fit for them. I also believe that signage is needed for clarity, but this is just my opinion.

The restaurant provided poor quality and old food, and when we expressed our concerns, they blamed the customers. It seems they didn't consider the possibility of customers getting sick from their food. They showed a lack of regard for customers, were unwilling to address the issue, and were very rude.

The food was delicious, but we had to wait for 2 hours. The waiter was overwhelmed due to short staff and apologized afterwards. There were no refills on drinks. We decided to go to the bar but were ignored by the bartender. After waiting for 15 minutes, the bartender started taking payments from customers who hadn't even ordered anything. With only four people at the bar and no drinks being served, we ended up leaving after 20 minutes.

I tried several crab restaurants even another crab barrack near trustville, but I miss that this one had the best experience and dinner I had among all. I always tried only one and the same crooked, and these are the king crooked legs, and here it was simply fantastic, many sides (kartoffels, mais, sausages) and 1 lbs king crab bein, with the house spicy and hot in the plane of the spices. it's just perfect and so delicious. the personal is also very friendly and beautiful and here you get all the tools they need to crack and open them the legs unless in another place where they forget or give them no sherry or cracker tool. If you want to eat kings, you have to try. I'll definitely be back on my next trip.
