Taqueria Tafoya - Birmingham

I learned from one of my students that they frequented this restaurant often. As a fan of authentic Spanish cuisine, I was eager to give it a try. I was not let down at all! The tacos here are some of the best I have ever had, even compared to the authentic ones I tried in Honduras. Whenever I am in the area, I always make sure to stop by and order at least two tacos. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, they will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is genuine, authentic, and delicious, served quickly and fresh. The staff is incredibly polite and attentive. This place is a hidden gem with a simple exterior. It is definitely one of my top restaurants in Birmingham. Highly recommended!

This place has the best tacos! I tried one of each and they all had an authentic taste. Unlike typical restaurants, this place has a taqueria menu with traditional foods like tacos, burritos, and tortas. On weekends, they also offer other authentic dishes that I absolutely loved. If you're in the city, you must come here and give it a try.

If they are looking for delicious birria tacos not here (blandefleisch, consuming was just like bland.) I should have just stuck with their carne asada tacos, which are pretty good, but it is hard to go with steak, twirl and cilantro too.

The best taco truck in birmingham. I always get a customized burrito, they never disappoint especially with mama cooking omg, hands of a engels. you can't miss it. please try and customize is also great. very nice profi. are they just waiting for the restaurant to open?
