We had escargots to start, the fish o... read more We had a very lovely time at Cafe Brun, we managed to get a table on a very busy night for them and it did not disappoint! We had escargots to start, the fish of the day which was a sea bream and the pork ribs, then to finish a homemade raspberry cheesecake and a crème brûlée. All of which was absolutely fantastic, the family who run it are very lovely and welcoming. We loved it so much we booked a table for another night before we left Biot!

My most recent visit was prompted by... read more I’ve loved this place since I first discovered it in 1999. The food is excellent and service and decor are super charming. My most recent visit was prompted by my 7 year old daughter who recalled it from a previous visit, choosing Cafe Brun over another nearby restaurant I also like. She was particularly taken with the mussels and devoured my wife’s plate in no time (her first time trying mussels). Serge and Shaena (apologies for misspelling) run this lovely place which is charming all year around from cozy winter dining near the fireplace to enjoying the practically private courtyard in the summer. A must visit destination in Biot village. I have mentioned to Serge that I think Cafe Brun is underpriced. Not that I have a desire to throw money away, but rather I like this place, the hardworking owners and the food. With prices and costs rising everywhere, Cafe Brun is the last place to raise its prices. FYI I re edited my initial review as it seemed to underscore value. Frankly at current pricing that is a 6 star dimension.
