Having spent a large of time eating in Thailand over the last 30 years, I was extremely surprised and impressed by the authenticity of the food at Benjarong, from start to finish. Every dish is typically Thai (even green papaya salad and tastes as it should. In fact, ‘be careful what you ask for’ beware of asking for it spicy...! The one and only French and English speaking waitress was charming and efficient, and dressed in Thai costume, although from Kosovo. She would however be unable to cope alone if the place was full, especially as the seating area is on the first floor, except for 2 tables outside in the narrow alleyway at the back. The decor is simple and chic, but the tables are rather small. One or two minor negative points: no nibbles were brought with our (beer apéritifs, which is always a bit disappointing. However, the starters arrived very quickly, and then the main courses almost TOO quickly. Overpriced desserts but totally delicious and copious. A good but confusingly presented wine list, mostly overpriced. (25€ cheapest . The background soul music (one track over and over again! was inappropriate and too loud, but the waitress changed it on request. No Thaï music, unfortunately. We will certainly return and recommend.

We found this little Thai restaurant with its lovely staff in Biot by coincidence. We can only recommend the perfect food and nice ans friendly service! We come again!

Only small apartment possible I find the price a little high (including the rating of 4)... no matter what, we'll go back with pleasure!
