We went out for dinner on Valentine's Night, and the food was outstanding. We've visited several times over the past few years and have never had a disappointing meal. The management seems to change occasionally, but the staff is attentive and eager to accommodate our needs. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Glen:
Four of us went for lunch. Good welcome and beer but the food was average. There was a large party also having lunch and perhaps this contributed to the steak pie being too 'well done ' for my taste. Both salads were generous but there was less chicken avocado than one would expect. I 'm sorry this seems like a more negative review than intended as we have had lovely food at the Glen in the past. We held our year 6 leavers event here yesterday. what can I say, but a huge thanks to dimitri and his team to make our night so successful. everyone had such an amazing night and the roast hog was the top notch. what a way to end the children's primary school years in our local pub
Friendly atmosphere, good menu selection, well pampered dogs welcome. a good place for a drink and meal.

Absolutely fantastic service today...it was totally rammed because of the snow, but the staff were fantastic...hats off to the chef who managed to get our food out, what a guy a great afternoon
