Overall, it was a good experience. However, when we were seated, our table wasn't properly set and we were missing some items. Our server took a while to come over, but she did apologize. The calamari was good, but I was disappointed with the chicken parmigiana. I had higher expectations for this place and I’ve made better dishes at home. The chicken was quite bland, with very little cheese on top, and the spaghetti was also unseasoned. I couldn't even finish the spaghetti since the sauce was watery rather than thick and flavorful; it tasted more like something out of a can than what you would expect from a quality restaurant. My sister ordered the same dish and shared my sentiments. On the other hand, my mom and cousin enjoyed the Italian wedding soup, and the bread was good. Overall, I was really let down by my meal.
We had an amazing dining experience! Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were promptly seated at the chef's table. The service was exceptional, and the food was delightful. We especially loved the beef ravioli in pink sauce and the capellini shrimp scampi, both of which were outstanding.
March 2022 update: I recommend making reservations at least 2 weeks ahead of time if you’re coming on a weekend. Seems like the reservations fill up fast. They did have a waitlist for people, but I’m not sure how long the wait was. Service is alwaysexcellent. Food is still great though our pasta had some undercooked pieces on our latest visit. It was also a little toosalty. Original review: The food was awesome. Complimentary bread comes with three dips.

The calamari was good but I did not like the chicken parmigiana. I expectedmore from this place. I’ve made better at home. The chicken was very bland. There was barely any cheese covering it and thespaghetti was bland as well. I didn’t even eat the spaghetti the sauce was watery not thick and robust. It tasted likesomething out of a can not a quality restaurant. My sister had the same and felt the same. My mom and cousin enjoyed the Italianwedding soup. The bread was good also I was just really disappointed by my meal.
We each ordered the chicken marsala. I guess our Italian dishes from St Louis are quite different as this was bland, tasteless, and the chicken tasted like it was microwaved or boiled. The sauce had zero flavor and the chicken was rubbery. We had pizza the last time we dined and it was very tasty. I would not order this dish. After our appetizer was delivered by the runner, we had no plates to share the dish. The waitress took our order and disappeared . We won't be back.
