What a fantastic little gem! The family running the place is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the authentic food is simply outstanding. It truly feels like a family-run establishment, making it a great spot for families. We left feeling completely satisfied! Whether you're coming from the city or are a local, make sure to visit this restaurant. You won't regret it! View all feedback.
The champong (spicy seafood noodles) was fantastic, with a generous portion that I couldn’t finish in one go. It was packed with seafood, well-seasoned, and had minimal "fishy" flavors, making it enjoyable even for those who aren't fond of seafood. Additionally, the kakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) was excellent. However, I wasn't a fan of the kimchi. It lacked adequate saltiness and spiciness, and there was an overwhelming amount of ginger. I definitely plan to return to explore more of the Korean dishes beyond the champong. I’ll update my review after I try the bulgogi, galbee, and spicy pork dishes. For reference, I prefer Seoul restaurant over R&C on Pass Rd. I found R&C’s bulgogi to be bland, missing garlic and enough soy sauce, and the kimchi was disappointing as well. Overall, Seoul’s food felt more like home-cooked meals compared to R&C’s offerings.
This is a fantastic spot for lunch! Since we live in Slidell, we had to drive to Metairie for Korean food, which is only available after 5 PM. The prices are great, and I enjoyed every bite!
Conveniently located just off the main path, this restaurant offers a delightful experience. The woman managing the place was extremely friendly and respectful. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a break from seafood.
Da Hood. Look pass the adult video store, the pawn shop, and the appropriately name 'The Project Lounge ' opposite side of the street. Be warned, our appetizer was good but we got (whether you like or not), and we like, nine small plates of kimchi it came with our meal! <br/ <br/ So pass on the appetizer unless you are really hungry. Our main course was tasty and plenty, washed down with Korean beer (not listed on the menu). The place is worth it just for the kimchi. <br/ <br/ So be thankful we have South Korea, otherwise, Kim Jong Idiot would have this all this to himself.
WOW!!!! The food here is AWESOME!! I have been to quite a few Korean restaurants and this one made me feel as if I was having dinner with a family in Korea! So much food for a very reasonable price! If you are near here...it's definitely worth stopping in. <br/ <br/ Sincerely, Satisfied Customer
