Although we avoid restaurants in tourist areas for obvious reasons, we chose this because it was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. The food was unacceptable, the portions small and the prices excessive for the quantity and outrageous for the quality of the food. Everything was swimming in oil, which smelled from multiple use. We got octopus, sea bass and eggs with spinach. We left half the food because we didn't like it at all. On our way out we ate sandwiches and ice cream to fill us up and to improve our taste buds. The service was very poor too but that is not unusual in Bilbao.
Our dining experience in Kasko was exceptional. Starters, main courses and desserts were delicious, all accompanied by efficient professional service and a truly enjoyable piano player. Would highly recommend.
