What a great place. eating, wein and service was very good. there were three of us, we decided to do para picar. enslada ventresca, calamares fritos, pimientos... read more What a great place. eating, wein and service was very good. there were three of us, we decided to do para picar. enslada ventresca, calamares fritos, pimientos verdes and mollejas have all washed with a very decent bottle luis alegre reserva. the waiter. was excellent. I told him we were back when arsenal wins the europe league. he promised a bottle of cava if they succeed. the whole bill came to a very moderate €72 for a meal that would serve easily 4 or 5 people.

I was dead on my feet and starving, and instead of using tripadvisor as usual, we used a google maps find this tiny bar mostly bar, only three tables for dining... read more I was dead on my feet and starving, and instead of using tripadvisor as usual, we used a google maps find this tiny bar mostly bar, only three tables for dining. The barman was very helpful even though we hardly shared a language, and...the food superb. We had the special fish of the day, the Catalan speciality of hake cheeks or hake neck which sounds bizarre but is absolutely one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten. No salad, not even any chips or potatoes with the fish, so don't expect anything fancy!
