A small group of leftie/pro-independence bars, although their policy is quite subtle. Bizitza is a queer bar, with rainbow and feminist flags behind the bar, but is welcoming to everyone. A great place to sit outside during the day and watch people and a great place to spend a good night. Standard drinks are available in every bar in Bilbao, but with a number of other beautiful bars in this small corner of the old town this is one of the highlights of Bilbao.
